Its about using assets properly. Danault has a place, the 4th line. Chiarot also, but not on the top pair. Evans would do better in Danaults spot, guaranteed. I've been a big proponent of Evans and think he's got more to show.

Drouin is not an asset at C and he proved it already...why beat that dead horse??...

Drouin is our best forward, he's been making great plays all season and has elite stickhandling, passing and skating skills. Slotting him in at center will free up a spot for Lekhonen.
Danault has been a black hole of disaster since the first puck drop this season and needs to heal whatever ailment is slowing him down.

we can expect therefore a change of strategy from defense to attack, with less hitting and more skating, less back checking more going to the net. Our defense was porous to begin with but at least now we're going over to the attack. Maybe that was holding Tatar back.

Last week or two have been bizarre. Drouin is carrying Suzuki and not the other way around. Tatar, Byron, and Lehkonen scratched. Danault still hasn't scored. Weber hasn't looked himself and neither has Price. I'm hoping the coaching change is what was needed to shake things up and get us on the right track again.

The news today has made me happy. Now if only Price would start tomorrow with a set of white pads.

Man, I wish he'd wear a plain white helmet too. Maybe some pucks would hit him in the head and he'd finally snap out of the funk nightmare.

Kotkaniemi goes 120% in the faceoff circle and Suzuki finishes with a 218% CF%. Winnipeg is kept under 1 shot per period and Dubois doesn't touch the puck once.

Romanov scores 5 power play goals and a +10 on the evening. Price gets a shutout in such dominant fashion that his season save percentage spikes up to .950 and Allen's GAA is automatically lowered to < 1.00.

No, he is our most naturally talented forward who is also our most adrift for most of his career...if he had half the drive & determination of a Gallagher or an Anderson, he'd be #Elite...sadly he doesn't and probably never will...
