Part II for Period II. This feels a bit like reverse Colorado where it will take a game or two for the Habs to realize they can play against and beat Vegas.

Habs had a much better first 10 mins than the Knights. Just got flustered after giving up the goal, then Knights had a better 2nd half. I'd say they know they can play with them.

Refs better crack down on Vegas post whistle scrums or we'll have another Scheifele incident.

We were the better team in the 1st.

I think they had a good start to the first but as it wore on, Vegas started looking better than us. This is probably going to be the most physical matchup yet.

The Golden Showers have a full lineup I think and the habs are missing their number one defenseman and they still outplayed them.

it's only game 1. Remember 7-1 Colorado. Teams always adjust after game one, let's not jinx it!

They're tough physically but habs just have to make quick decisions and not turn it over.

I have not seen a Habs team this physical and push back in a really really really long time. The guys are not intimidated at all!

yeah as much as I'm heartened by that first, I still have a bad feeling. Vegas woke up a bit. I think Vegas' advantage at D will be the tie breaker. Gotta weather that 2nd. Our 2nd periods always scare me. Fleury made some nice stops. Gonna be hard to get sustained pressure against him all series long but he gives up some juicy rebounds.

We're gonna play hard and leave it all on the ice I'm sure. Don't know if it'll be enough. But Vegas are beatable.
