I never realized but Vegas is actually a dirty team. A lot of nonsense, I assume to try and get the opposition off their game. Hell, if the refs let it go it's a good strategy. Annoying to watch as a MTL fan, but hopefully the boys use it to fuel themselves just a bit more.

I think Marchessault deserves to be nicknamed ''the rat'' more than Marchand these days.

The only bad news about the 1st period is the score being 1-0 for Vegas.
The Habs did played well, had the best scoring chances and is already starting to get into their heads.....which is a big part of the Habs game plan and it's working so far.

Their backend is tougher than the Jets or the Leafs but the Habs still managed a lot of good shot on Fleury.

I can see us going to the finals in all honesty. I expected that period, and this series, to be the exact opposite; Vegas dominating us and us squeezing out a flukey goal.

We're going to have to do better than we did this period with our chances - and get a better 2nd pp unit, or leave the first one out for longer.
