Post-Game Talk: Habs dominate Rangers 5-2!

Even if people talk about his speed and his great PK play, Ti-Paul is still a really underrated overall hockey player IMO. The guy is a 5on5 beast out there... It was extremely noticeable last night that he was in the lineup. That third line was looking great even if Kotka didn't have his best game.

He's really is a threat in open ice and a full press PP can offer up some of that. As far as being a great PK specialist I never bought into that because our historical underlying numbers just haven't reflected that at all. The thing is one shortie can change a game and most people will see that long before they see poor lane coverage or missed assignments. Certainly not all on him but he's had his share of issues IMO.
Good to have another weapon for 3v3 and 4v4 we need it.

He looks amazing, and he feels amazing after his corrective surgeries fixed his nagging issues. Fantastic skater for a 6’4” Man Mountain, not fast, he never was, but very fluid and extremely good at anticipating and positioning himself. And an absolute cannon of a shot.

I'd like to see Kotkaniemi with Tatar and Gallagher. Gallagher hasn't been getting as many chances recently. Hope (pray) he's not injured.

Also, Danault has always been good with Lehkonen and Byron.

lets be real here, Gallagher and Domi need to step it up a bit. Domi has been really quiet lately, even away from the puck. I like that idea, could kickstart both players by having JK with Tatar and Gallagher. Its like Drouin has taken a page from Domi's early season success, and is really rushing the puck and its great to see. I haven't seen Domi try an 'end to end' for some time, maybe the coach has said something?

So who is this Weber guy? If this board as a collective us to be believed, our Weber is past-it, crocked, a pylon, a marginal first pairing guy at best these days and apparently wasn't all that great years ago when he was in his prime anyway.

Cool. So glad that we've secretly traded him for this other Weber guy; the bona-fide #1D who bosses his ice for nearly half a game, has great IQ and awareness, is large & in charge and has a half decent shot ;-)

I think it’s a stone, glass house type of situation when we talk about what our fan base comes across as at large.
