I don't get why it's a big fuss. It'll be 1 year at most, and he's not a major piece.

Unless they're getting top 9 ice time, why would we have Poehling or Suzuki on the roster? I'd rather them play top line in Laval and give a 3rd/4th line role to Pominville

MB was on an interview stating he was looking to give ice to our younger players. We traded Shaw based on giving more ice time to young players. The Habs/Pominville reports are fake and nothing more.
