The reffing in this league is killing the game. Hope they let them play in the post season, because these idiots are ruining the flow of the game and missing calls all over the place.

I'd like to see Martinsen - McCarron - Mitchell. Either way though, we have lots of great combos for that 4th line. Top 9 looking really solid this evening.

The Habs depth in quality players is immense, they haven't had this type of depth since the late 70's. Julien can match lines & defence pairings with any team in either conference, then they have the world's best goalie to back them up, Sweet!!!...:handclap::handclap::handclap:

Love Beaulieu. Defends his teammates all the time, has top notch skills and he's our fastest defenseman. Still young. Don't get the hate he often gets by some of the fans.

Yeah Beaulieu is just doing what he always does, show flashes of brilliance and then have brain cramps. 2nd goal was his fault, he had about 3 chances to outmuscle or take the puck away and couldn't. It's just the same story with him. Frustrating player.

Hopefully Tampa Bay makes it in and plays Washington. Imagine... Caps, Pens, Jackets, and the Bolts in one segment of the bracket. I can see all three (including 2nd Rd) matchups going 7 games. The team coming out of it will probably be physically beat. On the other hand, the habs will play the Rangers and probably beat them in 6 or 7 games. After that the habs will either play the Leafs, the Sens, or the Bruins. They can probably beat any of those teams in 5 games. Come 3rd Rd, the habs will be facing the team coming out of the toughest portion of the playoff bracket. Habs could use that to their advantage. I want to see a Habs vs Hawks Final.

I think it's been extra confusing this year. I'm not sure what's going on. Perhaps there is an increasing lack of accountability from their superiors, but the standard seems to be all over the map.... As if they are just calling penalties whenever they feel like it or randomly ignoring other blatant plays.

Whatever the case, I think Montreal has a reputation amongst the officiating world, and it's not good because I consistently feel like the habs are getting the short end of the stick this year.

Danault scored, Plekanec scored, Emelin had a solid game with a great assist, the 4th line was buzzing all night with King having his best game with the Habs so far.

Is there a single player who was disappointing tonight? Perhaps Galchenyuk?

Hoping Julien has a talk with him and gets him fresh for the playoffs.

I have this dream that Galchenyuk will start getting white hot as we come into the playoffs, but I'm starting to question his drive more now than ever. No matter how you feel he's been handled it is on him to show some heart, desire, intensity, anything to get more involved in the game.

He needs to step up big time in the next few weeks if he expects to get paid this summer. It is 'show me' time for that kid. I have serious doubts, hopefully he'll squash them.

Davidson was nothing special and Shaw is less noticeable since being moved to center. But he was killing it on FO went 11/14 for 79% !

We already have a player with the skill of Galchenyuk and the will of Gallagher. It's Alex Radulov.

When the Habs play like they did tonight, Chucky just looks like he has no role out there.

What exactly is his role right now? Where does he fit? Is he a powerplay specialist who needs sheltered mins? Surely, that can't be his ceiling.

Jason York was going on about it, yapping away like his usual clueless self. Truth is, a lot mistakes were made on that play, and it should have never come back into the zone to begin with. 4 other guys were standing around, watching the puck. Blaming one guy for that comical display of turnovers and missed checks, was .. a typical York moment.

Danault coughed up the puck big time in the 3rd, with an awful pass up the middle in the defensive zone. If not for Price, yet again, that would have been a goal. Petry turned it over 3-4 times, as usual, but York says nothing about it. Whenver he gets the chance to make 28 a scapegoat, he does..

You think we couldn't use another Radulov on the team? :)
