Rem Pitlick is better, taller and younger than Brooks.

Rem is actually shorter, a year younger, they have virtually identical point totals and REM isn’t very good defensively. Not seeing a whole lot of difference but whatever. Both most likely career AHLers anyways.

He also has a very mixed record in Free Agency, the drafting values were 20 years out of date and development was severely lacking.

Complaining about any team with any front office making waiver claims is just looking for reasons to be miserable.

He could have had a goal or two last night but for some reason, he didn't shoot. He has some offensive skill and is a good skater, he looked decent to me.

Speed and motor are definitely there, plus some puck skills. Even if it's all he has, it's still the basis for a good bottom 6 player to have around.
