And they already sucked!

Vladdy's offseason workout was continuous reps of lifting his fingers/fork off his plate to his mouth.Mark Shapiro on Vlad Jr., Nate Pearson, and getting set-up in Buffalo
August 13, 2020
The Blue Jays President and CEO discusses the weeks leading up to getting Buffalo ready for the club, how prospects are staying ready, developing, the organization's plan if a COVID-19 outbreak was to affect the team, Vlad Guerrero Jr.'s development, expectations for Nate Pearson, and what the trade deadline may look like.
Never been to a comedy set have you?Don't get me wrong Vlad has sucked a lot this year but grown adults making fun of a 20 year olds weight is both cringe and pathetic.

The two Dominican shortstops were highly coveted on the international market, with the Blue Jays giving Martinez the largest bonus any 16-year-old received in 2018 ($3.51 million) and the Athletics doing the same for Puason in 2019 ($5.1 million). Martinez starred in the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League last summer in his debut, while Puason has yet to play his first pro game but is in Oakland's alternate camp as the youngest player on any 60-man list.
Martinez is the more physical of the two and has more offensive upside, particularly in terms of power. Puason is taller, leaner and more athletic, as well as quicker and a better defender at shortstop. Both have plus arms, but Martinez likely will take his to third base in the long run.
They're pretty comparable as prospects and aren't too far away from joining MLB Pipeline's Top 100 list. I'd give a slight edge to Puason but Martinez has drawn some Adrián Beltré comps, so it's a tough call.
Weight isn't even his biggest problem right now. People are going overboard. Not to mention the fact the kid is only 21 and still has a fast metabolism. A summer away from grandma and he's probably down 20 pounds instantly contrary to what people think.
David Ortiz and Prince Fielder were fatbois. No one cared because they could hit fat dingers. Hell Fielder's downfall wasn't even related to his weight and that dude weighed as much as a truck even at the end of his career. Papi had a nice long career as well.
The concerning thing to me isn't really his actual weight. It's more what does his weight say about his work ethic and level of commitment? You can be a big boy and still have a good career. You cannot however have a good career while being a big boy and not giving enough of a damn.
Fix the fact he's hitting like absolute trash first, then worry about the weight.
Eh I don't know he didn't look that much smaller at the first camp despite all the talk about how much weight he lost over the winter. Not to rack the guy over the coals over it. It is what it is, it is more so disappointing then anything else.people forget he came into camp 20 pounds lighter. It sucks he gained 40 during covid but it’s not like he could get to a gym or anything anyways.
that being said it’s still worrisome. He’s pissing hundreds of millions of dollars away.
As someone who owns Benintendi in a fantasy pool I can tell you he was one of the guys commanding the tank up to this point. With Benintendi out, the Red Sox tank has some momentum
The Indians have reinstated starters Mike Clevinger and Zach Plesac from the restricted list. In a surprising twist, both rotation members have been optioned to the alternate training site.
This news comes in the aftermath of a forehead-smacking decision by this talented pair of right-handed hurlers. They each violated collectively bargained MLB coronavirus protocols and then — as rotation mate Adam Plutko explained — lied to the team about their poor decisions.
I'm telling you - the man in white in centre field with a camera.
Indians Option Mike Clevinger, Zach Plesac
Im very happy to see this. This is how you deal with stupid decisions, the Marlins and Cards should take note.
If Hernandez is indeed legit, that takes a ton of pressure off the core. That swing...
