I love what the NHL is doing with this. It's not the fines that are the big deal, it's announcing to everyone in the league and to fans that these players are divers. And that the players diving should feel shame

Dno what incident it is for Nyquist but if it's the call he drew on Eberle yesterday it's ridiculous, since it looked like he just fell but got up quick and made a play anyway. Not his fault the refs called a penalty. Late 2nd period for those who wanna check.

Figured Franzen would be hit first with this. Basically the only Red Wing forward who embellishes.

The Boston one is definitely weird to me

If they found two recent dives so be it. Franzen has them rather frequently, and 2-3 really bad ones every season. Depends what you look for I guess.

Yeah definitely a dive there. Nyquist certainly isn't the only one who dives but he deserved the fine there.
