Pretty much everything at RM allows him to not be able to run as well. Not really the case here. I don't know how it is possible for him to be so slow.
I just don't know. I'm probably wrong but it seems to me that he's just not hungry. He doesn't move well. He's not outright bad but he could be more energetic.

Löw's hesitation to get a sub on cost Germany all momentum in that phase and ultimately led to the Sweden goal almost as much as Kroos's bad pass.
It's hard to quantify but I can imagine that playing a role as well. You could see the hesitation building up.

Catch 22 for Germany. You know you are already vulnerable on the counter, but need to up the pressure on attack making you more vulnerable.
