It's the Gomez dilemma. Not a bad player, but one who limits you & what you can do. Things would be different if he was Lukaku or Haaland, but he's just big & hard-working.
Austria doesn't suck, but the conditions of the game aren't favorable. First they had one guy get suspended and then they're the only team in this match that has to travel to play the other team at their home ground. The latter also applies to Switzerland yesterday. Fortunately it seems everyone has considered this a bad experiment and it will never happen again.
Well we'd all prefer a guy who's fast, skilled and strong, but in reality most teams don't have that guy. I think it's a false dichotomy. Sure, Weghorst limits what you can do, but so does every other option. Every player type provides a different set of possibilities, and in some game situations, a guy like Weghorst gives you the ones you need.
Yeah, those guys offered literally nothing.
Expect Austria and Ukraine play an amicable 0-0 which sends both of them through.

Neither looks like a second round team though
The crazy part is I don’t know where frenkie can improve he plays a complete game.
In the history of the sport no one has ever been faster than the ball. He's slower than my grandma.
