It’s not so much that the VAR call is wrong, but it’s always gonna be contentious when the ref has a clear view and has the opinion of no plenalty overturned.

I don’t like VAR, but can’t complain when the system helps to get things right (in the future when the technology is ready I’m not even sure we need a human ref - so I’m not against the idea, just the current execution).

Don't see the problem here. It's harsh, sure, but it's a foul.
