People need to understand the difference between a generational mascot and a generational talent. As of right now there's no debate that he's a generational talent but time will tell if he's truly a generational mascot. I think he can get there if the franchise surrounds him with a better team to get him more into the national spotlight. I'd hate to see him wasted in a rebuilding era.

Agreed, but he needs to show sustainability for more than 5 months. But, he's absolutely on track. He might have more name recognition than any player in the league.

This entire thread was supposed to be a joke but this is a freaky truth...


I had no idea that ECW came out of Philadelphia but now that you mention it, there may not have ever been a more perfect juxtaposition in the history of things.
