Good game for all the guys, Tatar's assist was nice home scoring wouldn't be surprised if the AHL takes it away, so probably no Gordie Howe hattrick. But they really crushed them, all the guys were flying nice to see.

Sucks that the Grifs came to play but there was almost no one there to watch (0:31) since I assume everyone was too busy watching the Wings **** the bed.

he's adapted really well. so far in the playoffs he has 2 Goals and an assist in 5 games. hes not really fast but he is actually pretty quick out there, definitely not slow. he blocks shots and hits guys. I could see him being one of Grand Rapids leading scorers next year. As far as NHL chances, if he always plays with this intensity he could be a decent 4th liner today (more physical Cory Emmerton from last year with more offensive upside) the North American game seems to suit him so if he continues to play as well as he has I could see him as a 20-30 goal scorer.

IMO he is no longer anywhere near the boom or bust category, and is more likely to have a good NHL career than not make it.

Interesting take.
I still can't see Pulkkinen belonging in the NHL unless its for offensive purposes.

Last night Petr Mrazek made 24 saves in a 7-0 W, becoming the 10th goalie in AHL history to post a shutout in a playoff elimination game.

Wow Adam Almquist looks disgustingly sick on the point. Get that hockey sense up to the Wings ASAP, take Lashoff back please.

Also I would like to make the drive up to GR to get a birds eye view of some of the prospects. For the playoffs say next Friday, assuming worst case scenario wings are out... Will it be a bad idea to buy tickets at the arena? What are the chances at a sellout?

Bullet by Billins(!) from the blue line. That just might be the best slap shot of his career. 2-0.

Jurco gets totally open in the slot and passes to Pulkkinen for a tap-in. 3-0 :handclap:

Tatar all alone in front of the net, tucks it in. 4-0 end of 2nd.. Great period, dominating at times. Love that Jurco is throwing his body around.

Tatar walking in all alone of the front of the net again, 4on3 goal. Interesting to see Glendening out there with him, he won a board battle to set that one up.

Now Glendening gets one. Open net. Toronto's stopped skating. MacIntyre pulled.

Mursak pots a garbage goal. Hoggan breakaway, missed, put it back in front of the net, poked in.
