When it comes to goaltending, it's wide open for Larsson to take over. They have a couple other guys floating around like Rybar and Fulcher, but it's Larsson's job to lose.

Megan, Camper, & Campbell are all UFA's and may not be signed. I think that they may be looking for other teams where the chances are better.

GRG has contracts with MacLeod (C), McCrea (D), Crawford (D), and D’Astous (D).

Yes a few of these prospects will go to the Walleye

Hicketts - Saarijarvi
Lashoff - McIlrath
Cholowski - Seider
Lindstom - d'Astous
McCrea

Looks to be the D. Not sure if Seider will play there, but I'm sure there's a spot for him there.

Quick question, how's the SHL's development versus the DEL? I'm just curious to see the difference between Lindstrom and Seider.

Grand Rapids also is maxed out on veterans, so unless they are going to move one, they aren't going to add another one.

Thanks, I'll update.

Not many centers signed... Are they preparing a HUGE role for Veleno...?

I wouldn't be opposed to it, the kid is a major gamer. Wouldn't be surprised if he plays a major role in the World Juniors, too.

Fortnite takes another victim...

For real though, I love Veleno's game. Skilled and hard-working. He's our #1 prospect in my eyes. I can't wait to see what he can do in the AHL. The Griffs appear to be stacked for the next season, that's great to see.

You can sign more but only dress 6 in a game. They had to sit out 1 vet each game last year

"The rule states that an AHL team must dress at least 12 skaters that have played 260 or less games in the NHL, AHL, IHL, or European Elite Leagues prior to the start of the season. This means that up to six skaters that have played more than 260 professional games may be dressed.
Goaltenders are not impacted by the Veteran Rule."

wouldn't be the worst place for Rasmussen to get a lot of center reps, either.
Like Winger98 says, I think you might see Ras as a center too. Both Ras & Veleno getting lots of ice time. In years past, GRG kept 8 D to begin the season and started centers on the 3rd & 4th lines. I think things will be different this year

Have to imagine at least two of Zadina, Svechnikov, and Rasmussen are in Detroit this year.

Agreed, also I'm pretty sure that Svechnikov is no longer waiver exempt, so if we try to send him down my guess is he's as good as gone.
