He got the guys out he needed too, but in some cases it seemed like the returns were very poor. I will just give it a passing grade. It was important to trade them out to gain assets, but also hard to understand the returns specifically to Stewart. There is no way that Brett Connolly is worth more than Stewart who has far more success in the past and present.

@Real_ESPNLeBrun reports that Bruins offered Spooner & a 2nd for Chris Stewart in October, but Sabres wanted to wait for better offer.

Dumped more bodies, collected more picks. The second-rounder for Chris Stewart is about right. And they shipped out Michal Neuvirth, who was really playing much too well for a team built to lose every game.
