The website has a banner that says 15$ tickets and free parking, and anybody know how good those seats would be?

To be honest there's not really a "bad" seat at the coliseum.

Agreed and it smells. I honestly can't believe they don't play in Broomfield Event Center, it is a bit of ways from Denver, but still in the local area.

The fish won first ever game in OT. Good news is Lauridsen got a goal today and Beaupre had four minutes in penalties including a Crosby .

No idea if it's a conditioning thing or if they aren't happy with his progress in AHL.

He plays second-pair I believe. Lauridson and Quincey are the top pair.

He was invited to Avs camp but is only on a minor league deal at the moment (two-way AHL/CHL).

Yup he is signed to an AHL contract, but the way he's playing he will probably get a ELC and maybe the Avs will get rid of Chouinard.

Just noticed this on the cutthroats website while browsing Patterson's and Millan's abysmal stats. If I were in the Denver area I'd definitely apply.

So, thinking about dragging the girlfriend to go see them on Saturday, they have a $10 any seat in the house deal. There's no way that gets sold out super early (or at all), right? Should be able to walk up a few hours before game time and still get it? Just haven't been paying attention so I don't know what to expect.

If you go, could you pay particular attention to Beaupre (#4) and maybe give us a scouting report on him (skating, grit, physical, positioning, passing, etc). Who is he paired with? Does he handle the other team's top line? Does he play on PK? Etc.

He intrigues me a lot. He seems to be having a great year defensively despite the team having a difficult start.

Now if only Quincey was with the team and not on leave. His contract expired and he's on team suspension until he signs another short term contract.

Lol, hope you actually brought that and people made fun of you.

Game was great, loved it. Ten dollars for a sweet in-game experience and really the Coliseum is not all that bad.
