I like it. K. Miller is definitely going to be the guy over McQ. Other than that, I think it's pretty realistic.

I put that list up against any in the league! Everyone talks about hitting on prospects but nothing like that. Cry about giving up talent but here we are going into a decade set up on a tee. Same formula as 2011.

We are good!

Pastrnak stays with bergeron/marchand
Iginla signs to play with krecji/agostino or vatrano
Backes protects spooner/debrusk
Accari/kuraly skate with belesky
Nash/schaller add versitility

Bjork gets called up early if hes ripping ahl up

Mostly going with age/contract status/chemistry with my predictions

I assume the kids will get a chance to replace agostino/vatrano if they have a great camp

Iggy is a good fit for the lower lines, maybe with Spooner and whatever LW he gets, if they are looking for a physical player in the top 9 they should have grabbed Hartnell at a million before Nashville, though Nashville having a much better shot at a cup I'm sure played into Hartnells decision, as well as Sweeney sleeping through free agency.

Here's a balanced what I would like to see and actual reality roster.

Marchand - Bergeron - Heinen I'm intent on moving Backes back to center. DT in.
Debrusk - Krejci - Pastrnak Balance the scoring, thin at NHL LW. Debrusk in.
Spooner - Backes - Vatrano Sketchy line, who knows.
Belesky - Kuraly - Nash Little bit of everything here not the worst 4th line ever.
Acciari

Krug - Carlo Take over Chara as top toi guys.
Chara - McAvoy Shelter CM a little, let him, play with a HOFer.
McQauid/Postma/Miller Scrubs who you hope won't hurt us too much.

Rask
Khudobin

And this is my just give us the Calder Cup now lineup.

Agostino - Czarnik - Senyshyn
Bjork - JFK - Cehlarik
Gabrielle - Swzarz - Porter
Blihd - Cave - Fitzgerald

O'Gara/Zboril/Cross/Grzelcyk/Lauzon/Johansson/Breen

McIntyre
Subban

No more aging players...you don't think the likes of Bjork/Heinen and Donato will question Sweeney?

Who cares if they do? What has Donato done. Heinen has shown nothing at an NHL level and Bjork hasn't played a second of pro hockey. Earn your time by playing in the minors or winning a spot in camp not be being an entitled brat and thinking you deserve a spot because of what you did in college.

If one of those three plays more than 300 NHL games it would be a win for the Bruins if two do it would be a miracle.

I don`t oppose having a vet pro tryout, but I don`t have any interest in signing a vet who can`t keep up to the pace of today`s game and IMO, Iggy can no longer do it

Top three lines are good, I like them a lot. Not holding my breath on 2 rookies in the top 6 but who knows? Including multiple players in the bottom two lines because i think those will be the combinations.

4th line will at least have Beleksey on it..despite his struggles last year (and price tag) he'd be a great 4th line player. I see the 4th line as any combination of Beleksey, Schaller, Kuraly, Acciari and Agostino.

Also no way K Miller doesn't make the top 6 d men after being protected in the expansion draft. They also signed Potsma for a reason, so I'd be VERY surprised if he wasn't included in the top 7.

My revisions:

Marchand-Bergy-Bjork
DeBrusk-Krejci-Pasta
Heinen-Spooner-Backes-Vatrano
Beleksey-Kuraly-Acciari-Nash-Agostino

Chara-McAvoy
Krug-Carlo
K Miller-McQuaid
Potsma

FWIW I would be stunned if Bjork didn't make the team out of camp, I also think the top nine LW spot is between Vatrano/Debrusk.

People pointing out that the team has assets galore are correct. The move would be to flip said assets for something significant that can contribute to the roster today, before said assets become un-viable or known commodities with an associated value. In other words, sell high.

When is the last time you would say the bruins sold high on a player?

Identify the ones that you see fighting for spots in the next few years and bundle others for immediate help. These prospects won't all make the team. Even if they were all NHL worthy, there is not enough roster spots on the team. Either they trade the prospects or they trade a veteran to make room.

Either way, a trade has to be made at some point.
