So...our enforcers aren't getting the job done? What's the solution?

We don't have enforcers, and enforcers don't do much of anything in the modern NHL.

Player A hits player B.

Team of player B gets upset.

Team of player B sends their goon after the goon of the team from player A.

No lesson is learned by player A as he had no price to pay.

Solution? Change the rules to allow enforcers to actually enforce again, or call the damn penalty to make the offending player stop taking dangerous runs at people.

That's why you have to have your head up. In theory, that's an illegal play. In practice, it seems to happen to the Wild frequently.

His head WAS up! That's just a flat out cheap shot that no player should have to expect to be coming!

Hard to expect illegal plays like an elbow to the face. If a player is at fault, I'll call them on it- ie, THE hit involving Havlat and Kronwall. Havlat deserved it the way he was rushing up the ice like that.

Random prediction..Matt Cooke goes after Brown in the opener..shows his worth to teammates and fans immediately.

I don't think the Wild has forgot about the Brown hit..that will be a fun game to watch for some fireworks

This looks pretty realistic. I think both Nino and Zucker will have more goals than assists tho, especially Nino. He's the quintessential finisher.
