Parise will score more than 30 goals, so will a healthy, slimmed-down and motivated Heatley.

Coyle will pot 18-20 goals and 25 assists.

Brodin's offense will ignite this year and should tally 40-45 points.

Would be amazing if this all happened. Would be ecstatic if 2/3 happened. Satisfied with just one, in fact.

Assuming we get ~220 goals for next season, which is a definite rise from last year's numbers, putting us in the top half of the league. However, I remember a 10 game stretch of time last year where we were averaging over 4.00 goals for per game, and Parise was #2 in the league for points during that stretch. So I don't think 220 goals for a team is too high of an estimate.

I still think Granlund wins the 2nd line center position and Coyle ends up on his wing with Heatley on the other side.

Looks good...Konopka's point total maybe a little high, but looks realistic for everyone else.

Yeah... except where's Dowell on that list? He's going to beat out Zenon for 4th line center... Zenon will be in the pressbox much of the year I think. Give him a few more points and take 2 away from Zenon. ;)

Assuming no injuries... If Heatley outscores Pominville, I'll eat my hat.

Surprised to see almost everyone predict Coyle to have 20+20 type season. I expect that kind of production from him when he's in his prime.

His first PRO season at all and he looked very solid.

Coyle should be a 25-30-55 kind of player in his prime.

i think 20 goals is doable for Charlie and Nino...but remember Coyle was playing with the two best forwards on the team last year and this year may or may not be expected to center a different line.

Doing Nothing
Koivu 20-50=70
Parise 30-35=65
Coyle 20-25=55
Pominville 20-20=40 (I think he misses at least 20 games)
Heatley 20-20=40 (82 games)
Brodziak 15-15=30
Nino 15-15=30
Zucker 10-15=25 (I think he plays 50 games)
Cooke 10-15=25
Granlund 5-15=20 (I think he plays about half the year)

Suter 10-35=45
Brodin 10-30=40
Spurgeon 10-20=30

Just a few predictions. I think Granlund ends up on the second line with coyle and heatley but at wing not center. Zucker will beat out Nino for a spot on the 3rd line with Brodz and Cooke. Dumba makes the team and is a factor on the PP. I expect Nino to lit up the AHL but Heatley's resurgence will keep him in Houston for the year. Spurgeon will break out offensively along with Brodin.

Parise 32+45+77
Pomminville 23+50=73
Koivu 17+50=67
Heatley 25+25=50
Coyle 23+17=40
Suter 12+25= 37
Granlund 13+20=33
Spurgeon 8+25=33
Cooke 15+15=30
Brodin 5+20=25
Zucker 10+12= 22
Dumba 6+10=16
Ballard 2+13=15

Actually it is called REALISM, I don't walk around with pie-in-the-sky dreams that some people are expecting. I actually look at a player's previous seasons production, factor in their health, age, and what type of teammates and team style they are surrounded with.

Take another look at my predictions, they are very realistic, and for some players, even more positive than most, including Matt Cooke, who I feel will have a great year, and surprise many with his offensive talent.

Many of your predictions are fair, including Koivu. But I think your prediction of Parise, Pommy, and Brodin are off by a fair margin. I think Brodin could have twice those points, Parise an 80 point season, and Pommy a 60 point season.
