In fairness to Lindholm he finally get a couple player he looks good with and then Tocc throws him with 2 guys struggling with no chemistry or chance to build it

Mikhayev and Suter suck and unfortunately they have term.
Suter's been fine but he's not a top 6 forward and is being miscast. At 1.6 for another season he's worth keeping around. Mikheyev needs to provide offense if he also made 1.6 it'd be a mute point and we could easily replace him via trade.

Nothing you're saying is supported by reality.

He's performing and continuing to be put in the big situations because he makes good plays all over the ice repeatedly.
Clearly the coaches see it and like it.

He's been good and making an impact its very evident to see if you want. If you want him to be something he's not might as well just force kuz into a selke player..

If you want more offense dont play him with a kid, and he'll look better, like he did with hog.

Temper the expectations to fit real life and maybe give it more than like two week not on a road trip?!?!

Cmon. This is difficult.

All you have is an appeal to authority.

Again, of course they're putting their big acquisition into big minutes and trying to let him play himself out of it. It would be bizarre if they didn't do that. And it's what they freaking should be doing. When important players struggle, you have to try and let them play out of it.

But he's been bad on the PP, bad on the PK, generated nothing at ES, and has 6 points in 13 games with a -5 despite all the icetime and opportunity that's been handed to him.

And again, your hypocrisy is ridiculous. You've spent the year freaking out when Tocchet gives Mikheyev minutes and responsibility but when he does it with Lindholm 'obviously they see how fantastic and amazing he is!' Come on, man.

And for the umpteenth time, it's not 3 weeks. He's been playing like this for the whole season. He was struggling badly in Calgary. And he wasn't great last year, either.

Mikheyev accomplishes nothing and looks bad doing it. Even when you and others were defending him for months he was still garbage.

Lindholm clearly makes an impact in reality. And its been a few weeks. He's living in a hotel still...
Let the man settle in.

If he wasnt performing as you claim he wouldn't be continually playing in the mins and situations he is.
That wouldn't fly with big Ricky.

So real life doesn't support what you are claiming and the video session tomorrow will be full of lindholm clips.

Who wasn't on the ice for a goal against in a bad loss, despite being "pinned in his own zone" as you claim.

Again you could watch the game and see a whole bunch of good plays that have an impact, thats reality. But they dont count because you say so. Okok cool.

Got to give some credit to LA. They played good team hockey and completely outplayed us. But it helped them that the Canucks weren't ready to play. Little effort at the beginning of the third but otherwise Canucks generating nothing and leaving huge gaps defensively. Game started with a absolutely dumb penalty by Bains and went downhill from there. Seemed everyone, even Miller, contributed to the breakdowns.

Good - really no one. Some guys gave it a go but mostly they were guys like Hoglander who need to be facilitated and simply weren't.

Bad

Myers - terrible first and then didn't play much. Got the feeling he was hurt or sick. Without him playing up to form the defensive began to fall apart.

Hughes - downward trend continued. Looks like he is playing hurt. Not like him to let guys skate away from him and that's been happening lately. -3 in this one Norris is slipping away. Hronek not much better.

Bains - looking worse as games go by. Enough's enough - he isn't ready and anyone who thinks he is knows nothing about hockey.

Passengers- Suter, Mikheyev, Lindholm. Will any of the guys score again???

Outside of the road trip through New York, Pettersson just hasn't been able to get in a groove all season. Not sure he fits the system Tocchet wants to play. Sometimes I wish Pettersson could be traded to whoever has the first overall pick and get Celebrini. Do wonders for the cap but likely a pipe dream.

Like I said before, February needed to end and it's too bad it wasn't a Leap Year.

You're still stuck on 'the coach is doing it so it must be right'. Unless it's a guy whose acquisition you didn't support, then it's TOTALLY WRONG!

And he was on the ice for the PK goal against tonight. Again.

And I could sit here saying the video session is full of Mikheyev clips, too. Let's talk about actual evidence rather than just inventing statements that can't be proven and probably aren't true.

it’s not real adversity until it’s real adversity. This is the step in the right direction
