Look at this team.

Now imagine it without Horvat / Kuzmenko (but add in a couple shitty older players on big contracts).

This is not even the bottom. It’s gonna get worse.

You mean that most of OEL/Myers/Boeser/Pearson/Garland won’t be gone by next year and Santa isn’t real?

Thats suprisingly pretty decent from Sergachev. And honest of Garland to admit his game lol

Hopefully he can use the humiliation and improve and make that contract at least not a negative value..

Good god at least NFL is exciting. This team blows

The on ice officials should be fined more than Sergachev. Could you imagine if that was Dermott and he was back into concussion protocol for the rest of the year? Not to mention every ticky tack penalty called and then a blatant blow to the head (when the leagues are all cracking on head contact) right in front of the official. Absolutely terrible

You're a wonderful city. It's not you, it's me
Hates losing but loves VAN is an oxymoron at this point.

Petey on a team that can play any sort of defense is a likely Selke finalist / consistent PPG player. He’ll win a cup away from us.

I know this is a GDT but this team is just a joke. Petey about to leave this mess.

That would be the cherry on top..At that point the team would be cast out into the wilderness for another 5 years..Irrelevant..Fans will stop attending games, and there will be something better to watch on TV...This has happened 2-3 times for extended periods in the teams history.

The team is barely watchable as it currently is.

It’s almost like, we could plan for this, instead of “not tanking”.

A surprise? How do Alpha males and Class A personalities deal with losing? Not very well unless resigned knowing there is an end in sight.

Florida is closer to the Nux than Tampa was but much more desperate.
Where Tampa just went through the motions Florida is in a dog fight and will be much more intense and serious about this game.
They will not be a secure in a victory and relaxed as Tampa was.

I expect a dance and a more an embarrassing outcome followed up with a trip to hell the next day.

They don't call him Gnarly for nothing!....say what you want about Garland, but there's a bit of Kenny Linseman in him. He drives defenders nuts along the wall and in front of the net.

But if he's going to play with that kind of edge....he needs some backup. And it doesn't appear to be there with the Canucks.

This is inevitable as the team transitions to a new young core. Everything is going exactly to plan!
