Kind of need to win because otherwise you're going 2-2 against one of the worst teams in the league.

Yes,..they were a total doormat earlier in the year..After that meeting, the Sharks beat us in SJ, and the game here was close.

Phew, yet another game, I am curious if this season is an anomaly or if we typically play 35 games before Christmas on the regular.
This has been brutal but if we can get through the next 6 weeks or so without any major injuries, we'd be setup NICELY for the final leg of the season.
Keep it simple tomorrow, sit Cole, bring Kuz back, and give the Garland line some extra time. I think we take this with authority and go into our break with the wind at our backs, and in Brock's hair.

The Sharks have had some good games against some elite opponents. That, coupled with the very real fatigue factor facing the Canucks, mean this is going to be tough, IMO.

They allow a lot of shots from perimeter but they also rarely allow odd men rushes
Yup. I've been counting odd-man rushes for various games this year and ended up at 0 or 1 on several occasions, most recently the Nashville game.

oilers have by contrast played 31 including their 1st B2B today well we have already had 5 this year
