Wonder if I should just start watching during the second period. Or is this the game we finally have a good start?

These next couple of games or going to be tough, hope the boys are ready. Our PP really needs to stop slumping.
Assuming Saros is in net, this next one will be a rare one where we don’t have a goaltending advantage. Need to start on time for sure.

Looking ahead a bit, Dallas won't have Oettinger so that softens that match-up a bit.
Honestly, will the Canucks practice at all before the Xmas break?

Guessing they practiced on Wed between TB and Fla. Spent Friday flying to Minny and adjusting to the 2 hour time difference. No practice on the 2 game days. Day off on Monday. Likely an optional skate on Tues before the game. Around a 93 minute flight from Nash to Dal. So, looking at around 1:30-1:45am local time to fly into Dallas after the game to be in their hotel or they fly out on Wed. No practice on Wed if they fly after the game. Could practice if they opt to fly out on Wed instead.

Have to treat the SJ game at home like a road game in Seattle. Decide whether it makes sense to fly after the game since you gain 2 hours or sleep in Dallas and fly out on Friday.

Pretty slim practice times before Xmas.

My thoughts as well. There will probably be some option practices thrown in but nothing substantial prior to the last game of the year against the Flyers.

They will practice on the 27th for sure. Flyers game is the 28th. But, I think all NHL teams get 24-26 off from practice. No NHL games those days, thus no practices either.

But, realistically, probably the Thur before FLA game was their last full practice before Xmas break.

Unless they opt to practice then fly out on the off-day between Nash to DAl and Dal to Van. Don't expect them to practice if they fly out after the game.

I don’t have any stats to back it up, but I feel like they usually play well in Nashville.

Dallas I feel like it’s Jekyll and Hyde - either a convincing statement win, or a pretty lopsided loss.

All time record is 23 wins, 15 losses, 1 tie and 4 OT losses.

That's a phenomenal record in Nashville.

Also have to post this one:

Third game in four nights with travel days in between.....In seasons past, this would be a guaranteed loss night.

But this Canuck team is resilient if nothing else. And although they could be running on fumes, hopefully their defensive system and the PP will bail them out. Keep it simple.

Well the travel is ok because of the early games. So they are in bed by 10/11. Vs the typical 2-3am if Min/Chi was at night.

Scoring early in this one will go a long way.
