We took a nap after tying the game. They just stopped skating and watched the Devils cycle. Such an annoying way to lose.

Hronek has been great offensively and compared to the rest of our defense, he’s competent.

But he’s been below average defensively, which is exactly how he was advertised.

He’s an offensive defenceman, not an all around solid defenceman.

He doesn't look all that great without Hughes. That's why I'm worried about signing him to a huge contract because he is racking up points.

Lots of blame to go around, but its inexcusable to not shorten the bench after tying the game.

Why did Myers see so much ice in a critical part of the game?

Like really, why?

Proud of the pushback, Millers line really picked things up. Hoggy just a beast in the third too.

But jfc, we had so many passengers, somehow tied it, and then threw away the game with some very suspect coaching moves.

That timeout by Ruff was pretty clutch lol

Need Soucy to come back and this franchise desperately needs to find a top pairing stay at home defenseman for Hughes. Hronek isn't it. They also need to upgrade from Myers, Juulsen and Cole. Ideally Cole would be your #7 guy.

Very short sample size for Zadorov but he seems like a bottom pairing guy that also needs a stable partner.

Demko should have been pulled after that 4th goal against. Really dumb leaving him in. Braindead, honestly.

They didn't deserve a win based on the lapses in the first, but they definitely deserved a point.

Hronek didn't have a great game and unfortunately both of his lapses resulted in goals. Meanwhile, Myers' mistakes consistently turn the tide of play against us. Frustrating but this is our last year with him so hopefully we acquire more consistent defensemen / Soucy comes back quick.

Just completely stopped skating after the Hoglander goal, plus a comedy of errors trying to love the puck up the ice all of the sudden.

Tocchet needs to wear this one for those match up calls and late game decisions, it's clear to absolutely everyone who is and isn't a complete liability.

The focus on Myers here is a bit crazy? Awful play by Hronek on the 6-5 goal. Zadorov with an awful giveaway earlier and then should give gotten a penalty on the Hughes breakaway.

Myers is atrocious but it's not just him.

Half our forward group are MIA. Mik, Kuz, Petey, Garland all need to be much better. Hronek with horrible coverage all night.

Demko has been very average the last few weeks. Not a good night for him. The juicy rebound in the dying seconds was a complete back breaker.

Also a Terrible effort the first two periods. A ten minute stretch of actual compete is not going to win you many games.
