Jarkko Ruutu - Chris Kelly - Chris Neil

Brian Elliott
Pascal Leclaire
We feel that we have one of the best forward cores in the league, with a good balance of both youth and veteran experience. The addition of David Booth provides us with more options within the top-six, and playing alongside Spezza we see Booth as being able to pot 30 goals easily.
Our defense may look weak, but we feel that we have a great balance on defense in that we have an offensive defenseman placed with a defensive defenseman. Phillips, Sutton and Carkner will all provide a solid defensive presence, while allowing Karlsson, Daley and Campoli to play their offensive games.
Our goaltending problems have finally been solved, with Brian Elliott grabbing the number one reins, Leclaire will be shopped in order for him to go to a better situation.
Prospects Update:
While we dealt away some depth within our prospect pool in Jared Cowen, Jim O'Brien, Brian Lee and Ilya Zubov, we feel that we have an above average influx of talent coming through the pipeline, with Bjugstad, Caporusso and Petersson all projected to pan out as top-six forwards, and Patrick Wiercioch becoming our closet defense prospect to being NHL ready. Robin Lehner will most likely be playing in Binghamton next season, after a solid first year in North America, and he will look to continue his play that has made many dub him as the goaltender of the future in Ottawa.
Top Prospects:
1) Patrick Wiercioch (D)
2) Nick Bjugstad (RW)
3) Robin Lehner (G)
4) Louie Caporusso (C)
5) Jakob Silfverberg (LW/RW)
