Wondering who plays better with voters between Mete or Kulak at 3LD.

Habs still looking to ship out a forward.

Paul Byron and Jordan Weal available for varying degree of futures.

With the signings of Chara and Nosek the Bruins are finally done. We made some big moves and helped solidify a longer opportunity to win. Players like Chara and Bergeron should be able to pass down the Boston Bruins winning culture to Johansen, Keller and Kahun.

While the loss of Torey Krug is immense we believe we made the necessary moves to keep our defensive unit strong for the foreseeable future. The addition of Skjei, re-signing of Grzelcyk, and promotion of Lauzon gives us a strong and young defense.

Marchand-Bergeron-Pastrnak
DeBrusk-Johansen-Keller
Bjork-Coyle-Kahun
Nosek-Kuraly-Wagner

Chara-McAvoy
Skjei-Carlo
Grzelcyk-Lauzon

Happy with how the stars turned out. Adding Hall, Palmeri, Montour and Gusev without any large subtractions from the roster feels like a huge win. Fixing our offence while maintaining some of the leagues finest defence and goaltending should make us a cup contender

Less excited about how this roster turned out. Between Staal, Smith, Lundqvist, and the buyouts there is over 25M of useless cap space in this roster. Knowing that we couldn’t contend I focused on adding short term vets like McNabb, Stephan, and Simmonds to help mentor the young players.

Happy to turn Mike Reilly and capspace into a 2nd round pick!

Confirm, happy to make room up front and get a stable backup for Price, this will be a big difference.

You did great with the defense and even if the offense isn’t sexy on paper, you have a deep group. Well played, you have put together a playoffs team that could surprise some contenders IMO.

Thanks!

This is no doubt a playoff team, the D is one of the best in the league and I'm happy I got a proper backup for Price prior to the deadline. I wish I could have done more with the forwards as in acquire a top C, and boy did I try...but just didn't happen. Instead I hope the depth is enough.

We built one of the top teams in the game by adding Ekholm, Crawford, and an entirely new 2nd line. The Canes still have a great future with a young core, prospects like Suzuki and Foerster, and we did not trade any future 1sts or 2nds.

Added a top-4 RHD that was badly needed and improved the depth through FA. A deep team that should have a shot at doing damage next year.

Sold off Johansen, Forsberg, Bonino and Ekholm. Kept our D one of the best in the league by locking up Krug long term. Offense is deep but lacks star power. Hopefully some lotto luck next year to give us one high end forward to build around after bringing in many new top forward prospects this off-season.

I think Seattle will come in, be competitive but not have a Vegas run unless some of those forwards could step up the way Vegas's did. Lots of strong young players who could also push for spots. Should be a very hungry competitive group, heavy emphasis was put on versatility up front, many Swiss army knife type players.
