Salary Cap

  • The salary cap maximum from the trade deadline to the entry draft is $69M.
  • There will be no salary cap minimum from the trade deadline to the entry draft.
  • Pro-rated cap hits will be moved in trades (use Capgeek's Armchair GM tool and click "deadline").
  • An injured player that is expected to return by the actual NHL trade deadline may be used on your roster.
  • Teams may have a roster of no more than 23 players at the trade deadline.
  • Teams may have as many players on their playoff roster as they wish.
  • The salary cap maximum for the 2015-2016 season is $72M.
  • Teams may exceed the cap maximum by 10% during the offseason.
  • Teams must comply with the salary cap by the end of the game.
  • Teams may have a roster of no more than 23 players by the end of the game.
  • Teams may sign their draft picks to contracts using the ENTRY LEVEL CONTRACT CHART
[/fieldset]

[fieldset=""]Waivers/Buyouts
  • Post in this thread if you’d like to place a player on waivers.
  • Burying a player in the minors or Europe only eliminates a maximum of $900k of their cap hit.
  • A player will be on waivers for 24 hours.
  • Waiver priority will be based on the current NHL standings.
  • If a team claims a player off of waivers, they then have the lowest waiver priority.
  • Teams are permitted to use a maximum of TWO ordinary buyouts.
[/fieldset]

[fieldset=""]Trades
  • All trades must be sent to IslesRock4 and RR or else they are not valid.
  • Once a trade is agreed upon, send it in BEFORE POSTING, and then you can announce it in the thread. A deal without a NTC or NMC does not have to be approved.
  • If a trade is announced prior to it being sent in, it will be vetoed.
  • ALL MOVES MUST BE SOMEWHAT REALISTIC. The commissioners hold the power to veto any ridiculous trades.
  • A trade involving a NTC or NMC must be sent in by BOTH GMs with a reasoning for the player(s) to waive. The trade must be approved by BOTH trade managers prior to posting. Keep in mind that not all NTCs or NMCs will be waived.
  • The commissioners will provide an 8-team no-trade list for players with a "modified NTC/NMC" on capgeek upon request.
  • If a trade involving a NTC or NMC is announced before approval, it will be vetoed.
  • If a team does not have enough cap space to complete a trade that has been sent in, the trade will be vetoed.
  • Vetoed deals must be significantly altered in order for them to be accepted.
  • If a player waives his NTC or NMC, the NTC or NMC will still be valid with their new team.
[/fieldset]

[fieldset=""]Agents
  • ? will be the agent for East RFAs.
  • ? will be the agent for West RFAs.
  • ? will be the in-season agent for UFAs.

Tossing the thread up since I've screwed you all over for too long. Will figure out the details of the teams that have no GM, but you can start sending in trades.

Ryan O'Reilly is available as part of a trade for a top pairing, LH'ed defenseman or a package of a top 4 d-man and a top 9 forward. May also consider moving him for a package built around a 1st round pick.

Not shopping him, but would consider moving Matt Duchene in a deal that would bring back a legit, young #1 d-man in return.

Picks and prospects, including our 1st, could be moved for a top 6 RW.

:canes Actively looking to trade.

For teams needing a high end defender, Andrej Sekera is a priority to move. Looking for a 2015 1st/equivalent prospect+

Both Eric and Jordan Staal are very much available and I'm open to anything. However, I am retooling/rebuilding so ageing players are of no interest. I will happily keep these two if I do not recieve an offer I like .

Alexander Semin will be actively shopped. Looking for picks/prospects.

Jeff Skinner could be had , but only for an equivalent similarly aged forward(at centre or defense) or in a package for an upgrade.

Should begin our trade talks more consistently tomorrow evening. Feel free to PM if you're shopping a Top 4 Dman (under 30), or a top 9 forward.

Bieksa, Burrows, Sbisa, Hansen, Lack, Markstrom, Gaunce, Jensen, other picks, prospects available.

Zibanajed, Cowen, Michalek, Methot, Phillips, Wiercioch, Neil, Greening and Condra all available.

Looking to re-tool rather than completely re-build, so I'm more interested in prospects and NHL ready players than draft picks.

Receptive to moving anyone not named Trouba, Ehlers, Scheifele.

We could move players out for picks, but we prefer young players. Hockey deals are ideal.

The Ranger are excited to bring back a NY kid!

:rangers
Jeremy Morin

:hawks
Oscar Lindberg

We feel that this is a good change of scenery deal which will allow for both players to get more minutes. The Rangers lack a player who is a pure goal scorer in their system. Morin is a tough, gritty player who can get his nose dirty to score goals and has a very good shot, something the NHL team needs.

Lindberg was progressing very nicely and will have a NHL future as a 2-way center but with Hayes solidifying himself currently and Miller pushing for a spot as well, we felt the need was at wing.

We're looking at improving our D depth as well as C depth. Prospects and picks are available, as well as Valeri Nichushkin in the right deal (Young top-4 D). Take a look at our roster page for more info!

The Rangers would like to announce the re-assignment of Anthony Duclair back to the QMJHL Quebec Remparts. We feel he is very close to NHL ready but we want him to get the experience of playoff Junior hockey as well as playing for Team Canada in the WJC. We see him as a big part of our future moving forward on the wing.

With the recent acquisition of Jeremy Morin, we feel he is ready to play on our 3rd line as the shooter on a line with (2) players who like to pass the puck and look forward to seeing what he can do.

We'll listen to offers for anyone, but if you're going to make an offer for Keith Yandle or OEL, start with an elite young forward. Old guys and futures won't even get you a response.

Shane Doan can be had for futures. He's only interested in going to an elite team with a chance to win the Cup this year and next.

Like Doan, Mike Smith can be had for futures.

We'll move Martin Hanzal if we can acquire a younger version of him in the deal, or if we can acquire his replacement in another deal.

TRADES ANNOUNCEMENT

:blues :edmonton

Nail Yakupov and EDM 4th round pick 2015 for T.J Oshie and Samuel Blais.

:wild :edmonton

Jeff Petry for Erik Haula, Christian Folin, MIN 3rd round pick 2015.

"T.J is a very solid player, he's got great skills and playmaking abilites, he's a consistent point producer, he's really strong and can throw huge hits, is very fast and play a sound two-way game. He's also a great possession player as well as very good in the shootouts. We are very happy to add a solod all-around winger like Oshie in our top 6".

"Samuel is a forward with a lot of skills, great hockey IQ, vision and playmaking abilities. He's got a decent frame, once he fills it we believe he can be a really good player for us down the road, we really like his upside".

"Erik is a two-way center with a lot of speed and hockey IQ. Offensively, he's a guy with solid playmaking abilities. He's a wizzard defensively, really good 5 on 5 and on the PK as well. Hes a huge addition to our center depth and two-way play".

"Christian is a big stay-at-home defenseman. Although he's very strong and good defensively, he's got a good mixtes of hockey IQ, speed and puck-moving abilities. We believe he can become a really solid shutdown defenseman for us that can log minutes".

Thanks to Blues and Wild GMs for the smooth negotiations.
