It does hurt to lose a player like Jeff Skinner, but we feel that the addition of Jordan meant a opportunity to focus on other areas we feel needed work. Marc not only comes in already as family, but he also brings with him a top-tier defensive style that will work wonders against our foes in the Southeast.

Carl Hagelin will step right in as a top-nine winger, having come off an impressive rookie season. And we will work hard to bring Mats Zuccarello back to North American ice, offering him an opening night roster spot should he choose to give NHL hockey another shot.

Washington is incredibly stoked to add Dave Bolland to the organization. What can we say about him that isn't widely known? He's a gritty heart and soul type that's full of piss and vinegar. He shuts down top players and gets under their skin. He's the epitome of a playoff performer and a Stanley Cup winner. In short, he's exactly what the Capitals have been searching for to boost their playoff success.

Niklas Hjalmarrson provides us with a younger no-nonsense defensive stalwart to couple with Mike Green. We're very excited about our versatile Top-4 of Alzner - Carlson and Hjalmarrson - Green.

Philip Danault adds to our prospect depth down the middle and you'll fall in love with him shortly this World Junior Championships.

Love this trade for the Caps. Bolland is much better then Johansson right now. Hjalmarrson is miles better then Schultz, hell, I'm miles better then Schultz. And Neuvirth doesn't matter since Holtby is the Caps franchise goaltender. Great trade.
