The Anaheim Ducks have traded forward Kyle Okposo to the Toronto Maple Leafs for defenseman Stuart Percy and forward Nick Sorensen.

With the signing of Teemu Selanne and Nathan Horton, we had to take a decision regarding Okposo. With our actual forwards group and Etem and Drouin who are close to the NHL, Okposo was the odd man out. We wish him the best of luck with his new team. We are very happy to add two great prospects like Percy and Sorensen to the organization.

We stockpiled prospects for situations like this, Percy and Sorenson are solid potentials, but both were areas of strangth in the org which we used to acquire some scoring on the 2nd line.
