Looks like this game has died.

Would have been nice if the defence agent had actually let his agents sign.

I'm in for game # 3.

Next game can we quicken FA up? 1-2 days for the big guns and the floodgates open after that. Some teams complete their team with the big signings and by the time the smaller ones are made no one really cares anymore

on the contrary, I think i've gotten more contract offers today for Goalies than the first 4 days of FA combined

But yeah, a quicker game would be nice, altho sometimes thats out of the Game Admins control... (my challenge for this seasons games is to fill out AHL and maybe ECHL rosters as well. its hard to bargain shop though when evetyone has checked out. Heck im still waiting for an NTC waive :sarcasm:)

Very happy with the way the team turned out. Did well in the post season, and now added Kaberle, Arnott, and Glennie in place of Daley, Barch, and Sutherby.

I think I've overhauled St. Louis into a powerhouse in the West. Doan, Streit, and Koivu, all top-end talent added. Along with Reinprecht, Miettinen, Scandella and Jan Hejda.

Sorry for all the problems guys. I am really sick with some sort of stomach thing.

I made decisions on most guys tonight. Hope I didn't ruin the game.

Still a really, really young club. Lots of offensive skill, but our defense needs to mature. We lost out on basically every UFA defensemen we went after, but in the long run that might actually be good for the squad.

We also haven't screwed ourselves with the cap, we have left plenty of cap space to re-sign all our guys.

We've still got a lot of guys coming through the system, including guys like Joey Hishon, Calvin Pickard, Stefan Elliot and Tyson Barrie.

Exciting future for this club.

did not have much time to sign Free Agents but the Devils will likely look like this going into next season. We feel we have 3 capable scoring lines and a solid enough defense core to compete

- if anyone is still interested in trading I would like to acquire a 2nd line centermen

Total Cap Hit: 61.511mil$ (789k in cap space)*includes Laraque buyout

Added: Dumont, Brouwer, Sutton
Gone: Halpern, Darche, Gill

No major change was done with the team. We added some size and toughness and solidified our top 6 with Dumont which is all we really needed to adress. We have a great chemistry in the room, so keeping the changes to a minimum was important.

*The team loks very different. Turris, Connolly and Tanguay improved our Top 6, which was the biggest area of need, and with Tim we feel we now have at least a capable #1C. The bottom 6 will be very competitive with the 6 guys conditionally slotted in plus Caputi, Boedker, Almond and Drew Miller fighting for spots. Our AHL team looks very strong up front and that bodes well for the future.

The D is different...radically. Gone is Dion and Kaberle, replaced by Yandle and Babchuk. We believe Keith is a future star, and this will be the year for Schenn to 'take the reigns' on D. It's a bit of a downgrade, but we feel with potential and at a cost savings of about $4M let us improve in other areas.

Giguere is gone from the net, as The Monster will claim his spot as #1, but be pushed hard by Rynnas. If either stumbles we wont be afrais to grab a vet goalie as there are plenty on the market, but we have faith in both of these young goalies to become 'Halak 2011' :P

Our prospect pool has improved. The only real subtraction was Kadri, who will be replaced by Turris in the org, and we added MacLean, Boedker, Almond, Huala, Palmeri, Drewieske, and Vey in various deals.

Can we have GM Game #3 for like 3 seasons because then only the hottest team such as Washington, Pittsburgh, and Chicago could win the Stanley Cup in one season.

Or we could do this:

Start a new GM Game with all the roster's like today, and then play a season and then next season we could have someone else take over the team but with the roster in the last GM Game.

Example:
Imagine if this GM Game ended, and then #3 would start, we would pick another GM for Toronto Maple Leafs they wouldn't start with the roster right now, they would start with the roster T_Cage made so the Maple Leafs GM would start Game #3 with this roster:
Tanguay-Connolly-Kessel
Kulemin-Turris-MacArthur
Bernier-Bozak-Armstrong
Sjostrom-Zubrus-Orr
Caputi

Meh, I still think that people are overrating them because they got off to a really hot start.
Halak now has a SV% of .906 and a GAA of 2.48 :P

They're missing Perron, Polak, Oshie, and Jackman right now, of course they're going to stumble a bit. Take away 4 of any team's core players and it'll happen.
