GM Game 1 Discussion thread

Game will consist of a few parts

1. Trading period (includes signing current FAs)-lasts about 3-4 days (majority of game)
2. Voting period
3. 2021 Entry draft
4. 2021 FA
5. Secondary awards

Rules involving cap will be voted on. If expansion wins, we will figure out who gets them later. DO NOT SAY YOU WANT SEATTLE! I WILL ENSURE YOU DO NOT GET THEM IF YOU SAY YOU WANT THEM!

I don’t love the GM games, so I’m taking a break

You could take one of the teams that don’t require much work. That’s the beauty of GM games. You can completely overhaul a team and trade every player or trade a 2nd for a player and sign a FA or two and call it a day!

One thing about overhauling though is NTCs will be in effect. Most will waive but if there’s someone being traded from a contender to an absolute rebuilder without good reason, they won’t waive. Also retention slots will be enforced and real life retention slots count.
