You send it to the agent that does your team's players. So in this case you were correct.

It's not really an issue either way, though.

Therefore, we have signed him to a 1 year contract worth $4.5 million.

He has earned a base salary of $2.5 million plus a $500,000 bonus for 10 goals, a $500,000 bonus for 40 points, a $500,000 bonus for 40 games, and a $500,000 bonus for Dallas reaching the 2nd round of the playoffs.
