    READ THE RULES.

    And make sure you have your roster & cap info posted in the roster thread!

    [fieldset=""]Commissioners
    [/fieldset]
    [fieldset=""]
    Game Schedule

    • Trade Deadline: Tuesday 10/25 7:00 PM
    • Standings Voting: Tuesday 10/25 7:00 PM - Wednesday 10/26 3:00 PM
    • Quarterfinal Voting: Wednesday 10/26 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
    • Semifinal Voting: Wednesday 10/26 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
    • Conference Final Voting: Wednesday 10/26 8:30 PM - 11:00 PM
    • Stanley Cup Final Voting: Wednesday 10/26 11:00 PM - Thursday 10/27 4:00 PM
    • Entry Draft: TBA
    • Free Agency Begins: TBA
      *All times ET, and subject to change.
    [/fieldset]
    [fieldset=""]
    Salary Cap

    • The salary cap maximum from the trade deadline to the entry draft is $64.3M.
    • The salary cap minimum from the trade deadline to the entry draft is $48.3M.
    • To find out a player’s pro-rated cap hit, use CapGeek’s Daily Tracker on the date Feb. 28. 2012.
    • When you trade a player away, use the “To Date” salary on the date Feb. 28. 2012.
    • When you acquire a player, use the “Remaining” salary on the date Feb. 28. 2012.
    • All bonuses count against the cap number. The team acquiring a player is responsible for all bonuses.
    • Teams may have a roster of as many players as they wish during the playoffs, given that they comply with the salary cap.
    • An injured player that is expected to return by the trade deadline may be used on your roster.
    • The salary cap for the 2012-2013 season will be $67M, and the salary floor will be $51M.
    • Teams may have a roster of no more than 23 players by the end of the game.
    [/fieldset]

    [fieldset=""]Waivers/Buyouts
    • Post in this thread if you’d like to place a player on waivers.
    • Each team has the option of sending ONE player to the minors or Europe due to cap reasons.
    • Each team has the option of buying out ONE contract during the Entry Draft and Free Agency periods.
    • The lowest team in the standings in real life at the time of a waive gets highest waiver priority.
    • A player will be on waivers for 24 hours after the player was waived.
    • If a team claims a player off of waivers, they then have the lowest waiver priority.
    [/fieldset]

    [fieldset=""]Trades
    • All trades must be sent to IslesRock4 and RR or else they are not valid.
    • Once a trade is agreed upon, send it in BEFORE POSTING, and then you can announce it in the thread. A deal without a NTC or NMC does not have to be approved.
    • If a trade is announced prior to it being sent in, it will be vetoed.
    • ALL MOVES MUST BE SOMEWHAT REALISTIC. Washington will not trade Ovechkin, Pittsburgh will not trade Crosby, etc. The commissioners hold the power to veto any ridiculous trades.
    • A trade involving a NTC or NMC must be sent in by BOTH GMs with a reasoning for the player to waive. The trade must be approved by BOTH trade managers prior to posting. Keep in mind it will only be on a rare occasion that a NTC or NMC is waived.
    • If a trade involving a NTC or NMC is announced before approval, it will be vetoed.
    • If a team does not have enough cap space to complete a trade that has been sent in, the trade will be vetoed.

    You can talk trades with other teams. No sending trades in until I fill Carolina's GM spot. Also figuring out the RFA agent situation but that will be settled soon.

    Scott Hartnell is on the block. You must be a contender if you want to trade for him as he has a NTC.

    Looking to trade Krejci and Ference in a deal that can net me either a first line RW or a top-4 PMD.

    I've already got a substantial offer on the table for Paul Stastny; if anyone wants to join in on the bidding, I'm looking for a top-6 LW, a #2/#3 centerman, and/or a young top-4 defenseman.

    EDIT: Make that 2.

    Looking to add a Top 6 and Bottom 6 Forward. Perry, Getzlaf, Visnovsky, Fowler and Hiller are our only untouchables. We will field offers on Bobby Ryan, but we will only move him if we are knocked right off our feet. We are trying to get stronger all around for the playoffs, and if it means moving Ryan, we will do it.

    Edit: And lets be honest, Selanee won't waive to anywhere. Don't bother with him either.

    Never said the top six forward and top four defenseman would come via trade ;)

    But for clarity, the players listed in my post are available for picks/prospects.

    Ah, makes sense. For picks/prospects those are actualy some interesting deadline pickups....

    Speaking of deadline pickups.....

    :jets FIRE SALE

    A fire sale so hot it will melt the IceCaps :naughty: (couldn't resist). With the shackles of the sad-sack Atlanta situation behind us, it's time for a proper rebuild. Lots of good bodies for contenders to load up on.

    *ALL UFAs (Slater, Glass, Wellwood, Stapleton, Oduya, Jones, Mason and others)
    *Nik Antropov (Great top 6 option, doesnt fit our youth movement)
    *Chris Thorburn (ideal grinder/fighter. I want to bring up Macacek or Cormier though)
    *Ron Hainsey (having a good bounce-back, but needs change of scenary)

    **Others can be discussed. Kane, Burmi, Schleiefe, Bogo and Pavelec are untouchable. Others like Enstrom, Buff, Little will be tough to get***

    Looking for: PICKS, PROSPECTS (prefer higher-end ones. Willing to do player+prospect for a better prospect if necessary), Top 4D (pref. RD), #2/3G

    EDIT: Also would consider taking on a CAP DUMP or two if the price is right ;)

    Not sure we really want to make huge moves, but we'll see what's out there. A #2 center and a top 4 defenseman are of interest. We'll also take offers for players not on this list, but good luck with that.

    #1 goalie is our biggest priority. Could look to add another defenseman or 3rd line forward.

    Sharks waive Frazier McLaren and James Sheppard with the intention of sending them to the sharks AHL affiliate in Woostah. In addition, waiver-free Tommy Wingels will also be returned to the squad.

    We are searching for a top 6 winger. Willing to give up picks and prospects to get it done.

    Anterro Niittymaki is actively being shopped.

    Nik antropov is both ;)

    Gotta turn in for the night. Slater and thorburn are in productive talks, both could be gone soon. Still plenty of bodies to move tho, don't delay!
