They look better, but are less productive. 15-2 in terms of PPGF.

Eh, some of that can be attributed to time on ice. If we consider Iafallo-Leipsec-Kempe-Muzzin to be the second unit(with Toffoli/Luff interchanging in) they only have 13 minutes of PP time. The 1st unit has a GF/60 of 9.22, while the second unit has a GF/60 of 8.92. So, the scoring is fairly close, however the second power play unit looks better to me.

I agree about Carter, you can see his progression lately. He does have off games, but he has definitely been getting better. I am not too down on Carter because it is clear that he is still recovering from his achilles injury.
