How did Carlo not name his kid Hamphus ?
I love that NESN was there to video his reunion with the team yesterday. You could see how much he means to them all. Everybody lit up when he came in all smiles.Carlo is one of those quiet guys that when he speaks you are taken back by how composed and animated he is. Seems to have the archetype of a good leader as well.
BRUINS prove once again that game stats don't mean shite. Goals scored is the only meaningful stat.
Shows they mostly defended, yeah?
Shoutout to Forbort. Who hasn’t played in like 3 months and played a real solid 18 minutes.
Staying up to 11pm.
Skipping the gym in the morning.
Must be the 2nd round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs!
Not bad, folks.
I believe "having no rest" was an advantage for the Bs. They still had the momentum and swagger from beating the Leafs. The Kids of Summer Stepped up Tonight Folks. So proud of the way this team responded....With no rest. Taking Game One is huge.
No. Cant coach scared. If we win next game its HUGEI think I would put in Ullmark just to get him some goalie/ice time incase of an injury. He hasn't had a game since April 22, that's 15 days if he starts on Wednesday. I am the first to say stay with the hot hand. But we can't play Swayman every game to the cup final.
..but now I want moreGot the split 8)
I'd like to see someone come in here with some advanced stats for us, but to my eyes, the Panthers played a good game. I'm not sure what they can change. If the Bruins bring this quality to every game, they win more than they lose. My concern is their consistency...gotta keep this up because the Panthers will keep playing like that.
We all do...but now I want more
Does Peeke com in for Worthspoon?Peeke vs Forbort will be a decision certainly.
Heinen too. Not sure exactly where he'd slot.
Nobody outside of the family knows how the Chairman is doing and that is frankly acceptable - it is none of our business.I freely admit that I have been a merciless critic of Jeremy Jacobs, but I do hope that a visit from the Bruins will boost his spirits if he is indeed in poor health.
Funny, I was thinking about him yesterday and was wondering if he would attend any of the games in Florida.
I will say a prayer for him.
Of course. As critical as I’ve been of his ownership of the Bruins, I sincerely hope he is doing as well as possible.Nobody outside of the family knows how the Chairman is doing and that is frankly acceptable - it is none of our business.
I thought Wotherspoon had a great game. To me it comes down to Peeke and Forbort. I would lean Peeke as right shot.Does Peeke com in for Worthspoon?
yes. This.I’d keep swayman in and go for the jugular.
