Ya, PP units are perfectly fine. Chara up front is producing some great results, although I still feel like he can be a detriment at times when they're working in tight spaces down low. Still, I can't argue with his 3 goals on the PP or whatever it is.

We'd be a wild card team in the West, and some of the wild card teams have a game on us.

So what? The Bruins don't play in the West. And what's the difference anyway, a couple of points?

OK, I had a chance to look it up. Anaheim leads the West with 35 points in 25 games, two more games played than Boston. The Ducks are 16-6-3. The Bruins are 15-6-2. That's a pretty thin margin.

Ward pretty much single handedly gave the Canes a point and also gave them a chance at stealing the game.

that game could have been a really.. REALLY embarrassing blowout.

That OT goal was arousing to say the least.

Krejci passed up on the open net, preferring to take his time, smell some flowers and enjoy a moment to himself. Then he brought the puck over to his forehand and made no mistake to win the game for Boston:

wish this forum didn't have rules and I could call people idiots and morons.

Saying congrats to the Bruins and the refs like Ward wasn't the only reason the Hurricanes didn't get completely embarrassed

Soda is definitely starting to adjust to the speed of the NHL. He sucks defenders into thinking he's doing the obvious, then makes a subtle play no one expects. Once his teammates start reading him better, they could pile up the points.

Carl is looking better every game. I am pleased he finally decided to join the B's.

7 out of 8pts, from 4 games in 5 1/2 days is what one would call a very good week of hockey.

Ryan Spooner wouldn't be able to take the abuse Kelly does to set up chances for Yeti and Smitty. Fact not opinion.

Give credit where it is due.

It's nothing more than a poor troll attempt from a guy who hates Bergeron and Kelly.

Seriously, Spooner is the most overrated player on these boards if people are really thinking he should take Bergeron's spot on the 2nd line and bump one of the best players in the NHL down to the 3rd line.

Is Spooner NHL-ready? On alot of teams, he is.

But for people to actually think he can take Bergeron or Kelly's role at this point is laughable.

Spooner isn't overrated but it's ridiculous to think he is a 2nd line center so soon. Wouldn't mind to see Spooner on the 3rd line and Kelly on the 4th for a few games see how that works.

Why ruin a good thing? Our bottom six has been doing alot of good recently. Campbell and the 4th line have been playing good, and the 3rd line has been our best line during the past few games.

To be fair- there's literally only one person that believes this, and it's CB. I suppose every village has its idiot.

4th line is now starting to click. And no one said now maybe down the line if someone is slumping or someone is injured.

It cracks me up.

If people think Claude Julien is going to do anything to change the bottom two lines with their production and the way they've carried the play the last two weeks, you're not at all remotely familiar with how this team runs.

Wish in one hand, **** in the other, and see which one gets filled first.

I can live with that under those circumstances just to try things out if there is an injury or if Campbell or Kelly are playing atrociously. But Kelly plays so good defensively that it kinda offsets his offensive struggles.

Unless there is an injury, I don't expect it to happen any time soon though.

We have a 3rd line C. Bergeron

We also happen to have a 2nd line C in Spooner, who should be playing with Soderberg.

THIS THIS THIS THIS!!!!

Bergeron is a good second line center too but he needs a hot linemate. As a third line center you can't go wrong no matter who he plays with he'll outproduce ALL 3rd line centers in the legue. Marchand not being himself means we don't have a 2nd line.

So let Spooner make us one.

And if you want Spooner to be a first line center like Krejci has turned himself into its freakin time to play him regularly like we allowed Krejci to in 07/08 in hopes that a breakout year like Krejci's in 08/09 is in the immediate future.
