Sorry if this sounds snotty, but how is this a mystery? The Pirates actually do exist right? They have coaches, management, media covering them, and practices...

Is Brule at practice? If not has anyone asked why not and what was the answer?

Have him and Klesla gone on the lam together?

Klesla is in Portland, Brule is not from what I understand, and Edwards was asked where Brule was and quipped he's not here, which leads to the story about Metalorgorsk being posted in our sticky thread at the top of this forum, Brule also from the team site didn't play last weekend and the way Treliving described it was the contract was offered, now why would the Coyotes announce the signing on 11/30, but within hours of that release, it's being reported that Brule never signed the contract, and left for the KHL.

so said the Coyotes release too on 11/30/13, but our sources said he's not a Coyote or a Pirate but is indeed in the KHL....

Our source? or our sorcerer?

Where does he fit in to the lineup?

We need to fortify Hanzal - Vrbata.

Can't we get Flash or Erat?

Seriously, Maloney.

Hanzal and Vrbata are scoring just fine without an addition to that LW spot. They are number one and two respectively in point per game on our team.

They're going to need help down the stretch. Thus far, those our PP-inflated numbers, which is nice, but likely cannot be sustained over the long run. They need a dependable linemate and we need a solid top-6. Ribeiro should not be playing on the 3rd line. That's Vermette's role. Tim Kennedy should not be on the 2nd line. We have some holes to fill.

Tip on Brule recall:

Brule has been their best player in Portland

Looked like he was going to Russia - decided against it

Only have 12 forwards need insurance - not sure he'll play

He's earned a call-up - if he gets in he'll do well

Familiarity helps - knows the system - was a good playoff player a couple of years ago

Not a big guy - dynamic game - brings energy - can score - good fit - utility player - can play all three forward positions - PP and PK
