I was one of those people who thought Gerard was given too little time in his previous jobs.

I was obviously wrong in this case. He was not the best man for the job.

Hopefully the next Coach can unleash the talent in KK & Laf.

I dont expect much to change unless they can magically make the players skate/play faster

apparently turk had a 3 year contract with an opton 4th year but the option needed to be granted this summer. so if the team wasnt willing to grant the option on the 4th year then what is the point of bringing him back for year 3, and why would he want to come back fro year 3 if he thinks he can parlay his record the past two seasons into a guaranteed contract elsewhere for more term (2+ years guaranteed is more than he currently has).
