Has anyone here watched both the Clone Wars and Bad Batch? How would you compare them quality wise in terms of the storyline?

It's been years since I watched Clone Wars and I'm part way through Bad Batch right now. I thought Bad Batch started really well but slowed considerably. There's also a lack of familiarity with characters that was heavy through Clone Wars (at least to this point) in Bad Batch. Thus far only really one character from previous canon really (unless I missed more) and it's been bits and pieces.

It does have a bit of a Mandalorian feel to it in certain ways, though animated. But Mandalorian was far better at dropping hints about canon related stuff - watching Mandalorian I was always on the lookout for links to the Jedi, Boba and other stuff. But Bad Batch hasn't yet capitalized on it.

There's definitely a storyline going but it's kind of slow. Worth the watch though.

Couple gaming stores around the city have open house gaming nights.....players can just walk in and play. I game with the same group the last about 9 years, every week.

Never played D&D as a kid/teen, but a couple years ago a friend asked if I wanted to join a game and now been playing with the same group of guys for just over 3 years. It’s the most fun I have outside of my family at this point.

Our DM is amazing and he also builds a lot of the sets/terrain, which just adds an extra zip to the game.

Now that our puppy is close to 6 months and more or less settled down (ie likes to nap at night), I'm trying to get caught up on my geek shows. Enjoyed the first 3 episodes of What If? so far. I see Black Widow is now free on Disney+, I'll watch that soon.
