Brings back a memory of Dice Clay saying "put a piece of gum on it" . . . to keep from being dinged, I'll not elaborate on the first part of the line
Did some good things. Several really good chances that weren't made use of.
Turnovers proved critical. We paid the price. At least one goal was one that shouldn't go in.

What bothers me the most about this game were the circumstances. Vegas was here without Eichel. 9 players were out of the line-up. They played an OT game the night before.
Sorry, but you MUST take advantage of those factors. This game was practically given to us on a platter.
It's getting nauseating how often the Isles play a team that's on a back-to-back after they've had a night off - and can't take advantage of it. Nauseating!
That's as close to a schedule gimme as it gets.
And they don't win those games...

Couldn't have asked more of MacLean in this call-up. For what's expected and the role he assumed on the 4th line, he's been outstanding.
