it really is amazing that honka got drafted in the 1st but aho is still available in 7th, i actually think aho is more defensively responsible than honka and he has comparable offensive upside

He played as a 19 year old and was below 1 PPGM. Not something that gets you drafted early. Scouts look at the whole body of work, not just one week.

His playoff stats in two consecutive years were really great.. the guy shows up, he's worth the flyer.
