Because the NHL this week started talking about possibly instituting a 10 game suspension if a goalie crosses the red line to fight.

just make the neutral zone the only place goalie fights can happen.... if you cross into the offensive zone to fight, then suspend.

You know I honestly think it would be a great way to decide a game that's tied after OT. It's as legit as the skills competition they use to decide it now. Have them come to center take off the gloves and helmets and go at it.

Which is pathetic. Goalie fights should be allowed as long as BOTH goalies want to fight. It's pretty simple. When it's so crystal clear that one doesn't want to participate (such as the Emery incident), then you suspend the crease monkey who's guilty of jumping the other guy. But if both are standing at the blueline wanting to go....let them go at it.
