That's a great idea, but we don't have any cap space.

If that is the strategy for getting a new GM, we should be patient. Wait until TB comes in February, and make sure Yzerman joins them. He's still an advisor to the team despite steeping down as GM. Capture Yzerman and Cooper in one fell swoop. Much better than an unproven Pronger.

Any word on who is in net tonight? I'd rather Binnington plays tonight rather than against Colorado, though both teams have good forwards. The Panthers have gotten awful goaltending this year, so we should be able to overcome a bad goal from nerves or inexperience.

The Sanford one makes sense, he could use a game off. I would have really liked to leave Kyrou in since he just scored his first goal and see if he can gain some confidence and go on a little streak. Getting really tired of Maroon playing.
