I’m related to him through my wife, it’s her cousin. Johnny and the girls are doing great in Germany, incredible lifestyle and the education and opportunities their oldest daughter are getting are fantastic. Really happy for him.

That's great to hear. I always was under the impression that he's a great guy - unfortunately his tool set wasn't good enough for a decent NHL run, but the DEL should suit him quite nicely.

Yeah, Johnny Malkin can confidently say he had a good NHL career. Lasted a lot longer than most do.

We made the playoffs without Makar last year (barely) so I’m not losing hope just yet lol.

the injuries are completely out of control though. So now Donskoi, ej, kadri, Wilson, grub, and Makar? That is just nutty.
