This team won 5 in a row like a week ago. The season's not gonna be over until they're hovering at the bottom of the East in like February. Even then, I expect them to do some stupid, desperate move to try and pretend they don't actually suck.

Nah, no chance. They embarrassingly threw themselves at Dubas' feet and immediately threw out the prior two weeks of interviews for GMs they'd been running as soon as Dubas became available. They gave him nearly a decade-long contract and full autonomy in running the entire FO. They love Sully, but Dubas is the new golden boy. If the two butted heads, they'd side with Dubas imo.

The *real* issue is that Dubas is probably just as enamored with Sullivan as FSG is.
