It was necessary for character development. But all in all, I didn't think Drone was all that bad. It had one of the most touching and heart crushing moments in all of Television. Right up there with Moira Queen telling Ollie that she knows that he's the Arrow and is super proud...

Right before she dies.

The Arya storyline has some lulls but it at least has some logical consistency and the characters aren't walking "look how great I am" cutouts.

The only thing redeeming about Dorne is/was Hotah, Doran, and the kidnapped acting talents of Indira Varma. Everything else is the most ridiculous ******** I have seen in Game of Thrones.

Seriously, this entire scene was filled with garbage.

The whip though the speech about the spear was awful. Bad actresses.

I'm fine if we never go back to Dorne again.

I've never posted the thought on here but the whole Dorne storyline last season felt a lot like an episode of Arrow to me. Usually in GoT when characters start swinging swords there's consequences, but here Jamie & Bronn recklessly wander into Dorne infiltrating the castle without any sort of a plan in the same way Oliver Queen & crew would storm a League of Assassins stronghold. Realistically that should be an instant death wish, but instead they get outnumbered in a big fight, get captured, get to talk with the boss, then get out without a casualty.

IMO most cringe worthy Dorne moments:

1. Tristane death (I choose you and turn my back to the other one)
2. Doran assassination
3. The fight between Bronn/Jamie and The Sand Snakes
