I remember that used to be the calling card for the Craig Adams defenders. We need him in the lineup for his PK ability. Yet, the Pens don't seem to have struggled since he retired.

It's almost like a team's PK ability is more a reflection of the coaching staff and how well they get all 4 guys to buy into the system rather than one random 4th line plug who happens to play on it because he's willing to block shots.

I mean you can teach anyone who has tge will to do it to kill penalties… we just hate using stars on it for some reason, so it really accentuates the grunts that play solid positional hockey and block shots
