Man the refs screwed the Blues big time tonight, simple as that. I thought the slashing call on Stastny was a borderline call, but it was weak as *****.

I don't get how they miss the high stick to Lehtera in the first period and then later on the high stick on Backes that drew blood, in Backe's case the ref was right in front of him when it happened, how does the ref not make the obvious call there?

Blues needed to get puck in deep and forecheck harder more often than they did, as Hitch alluded to in the interview with Panger. The Blues couldn't get any good bounces tonight it would seem. The goal Allen let in was kind of weak but other than that he was excellent yet again, this loss isn't on him. I wonder which goalie Hitch goes with Thursday?
