- he's a big Bob Marley fan
- they wanted to establish home ice again, they thought they let the fans down last game, they wanted to come out hungry tonight and they got off to a good start
- Carolina is a fast transition team, wanted to get pucks in deep on them, get on the forecheck as much as they could
- unselfish teammates got him the 3rd goal, Pavs and Burnzie could've easily gotten the goal
